    Ord. No.__________Declaring three parcels of land as surplus and no longer needed for public or municipal purposes and conveying said property to the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for the Forever Wild Project.

No.__________Authorizing the issuance and sale of the Dothan-Houston County Communications District’s Revenue Bonds, Series 2015 in the approximate amount of $5,500,000 to fund the cost of various capital improvements and equipment relating to the acquisition, construction and equipping of a 911 call/dispatch center and to pay issuance expenses of the Bonds.

    Res. No.__________Declaring certain properties which are overgrown with weeds, scrub, wild bushes, grass and other vegetable growth as injurious to the health, safety and welfare of the community as nuisances and ordering that the properties be abated.

No.__________Confirming the cost incurred in notification and abatement of certain properties determined to be in violation of Article III, Chapter 106 of the City of Dothan Code of Ordinance (repeat offenders) and turning the costs over to the County Tax Collector so that the amounts can be added to the next regular bills for taxes levied against the respective lots and parcels of land.

    Res. No.__________Rescinding Resolution No. 1997-100, dated March 25, 1997, which established Covenants and Development Standards for the Westgate Industrial Park.

    Res. No.__________Adopting the Community Development Block Grant Five Year (2015-2019) Consolidated Plan and the 2015 Year One Annual Action Plan.

    Res. No.__________Amending the 2014 Subrecipient Agreement with Habitat for Humanity for the purpose of increasing the budget for emergency repair by $40,000.00.

    Res. No.__________Amending the 2013 Subrecipient Agreement with the Ordinary People Society for the purpose of reprogramming an unobligated balance of $3,575.00 to the Mama Tina Mission House Kitchen Expansion.

    Res. No.__________Approving the purchase of a parcel of land located on the southside of West Main Street between Roosevelt Drive and Westchester Street for the purpose of relocating Fire Station #3, in the amount of $425,000.00 plus closing costs.

    Res. No.__________Entering into an agreement with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management to accept a 100% reimbursable grant in the amount of $50,000.00, to be used for the expansion and improvement of the city’s recycling program.

    Res. No.__________Entering into a contract with DPS Group for Upgrades to Security Electronic Door Controls for the Dothan City Jail in the amount of $49,403.00.

     




    21.

    Res. No.__________Awarding the bid, entering into a contract, and issuing a Notice to Proceed to Palmer Electric for the Generator Installation at the Recreation Road Well Site for the sum of $110,096.00, and appropriating funds for said installation.
     




    22.

    Res. No.__________Awarding the bid, entering into a contract and issuing a Notice to Proceed to Brunson Nichols Construction Company, Inc. for the Hwy 12 Water Main Extension from North Beverlye Road to Old Cowarts Road for the sum of $87,298.00, and appropriating funds for said extension.

    Res. No.__________Entering into an agreement with PRA Government Services d/b/a Revenue Discovery Systems for business license discovery and recovery services for a one year period.
