DOTHAN: Tonight I had the chance to be on The Meck radio show featured on 103.9. The Meck airs Monday through Thursday from 9:00PM until 10:00 PM.
Tonight his guest was Mark McDuffie. He was injured while serving our country. He underwent 54 surgeries and was in Walter Reed hospital for months.
Mark was injured in 2007 the day following the Enterprise tornados. His dad was the principal of Daleville High School and was dealing with the tornados, to be told the following day that a bomb had exploded and his son was severely injured. The two men with Mark were killed.
Mark went to school in Geneva and graduated from school in Geneva. He had married his high school sweet heart who slept by his side in the hospital. Today they have two children.
Mark has gone through a lot for his country and fighting for the freedoms we have today. You know those freedoms we take for granted.
Mark has Wounded Warrior Fishing. A ministry that takes other wounded warriors fishing. Click to visit his web site.
Tonight was indeed a blessing to meet Mark through the telephone lines. He was not live in the studio and the interview were conducted through the phone. I look forward to the future in meeting Mark and doing a you tube interview for the web site.
The Meck Show
David Meckley has been working hard to get started back on radio. This was his first week of his show and he had some remarkable interviews. His first night was Mayor Mike Schmitz. I had the opportunity to be in the studio and learned a lot about Mayor Schmitz years growing up and his path to success.
The Meck will be bringing guests through the phone and listeners are allowed to call in and talk live on the air and interact with his guests. The show is fun. It is streamed live on the web and available on your smartphones.
Tune into The Meck, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM on FM 103.9
Sports Fans…this Tuesday night, LIVE from Birmingham, on the air with The Meck will be Paul Finebaum. You can call in and ask questions and interact with Finebaum as he joins The Meck.
