Traffic Safety Educational Checkpoint

On Monday, May 18th  at 3:00 pm, the Dothan Police Department and the Southeast Alabama Traffic Safety Office will conduct an “Educational Checkpoint” at the intersection of S. Oates St. & W. Selma St.


 


During this time, members of the Dothan Police Department will distribute safety information to motorists travelling through this intersection.  Traffic flow will not be disrupted as this is an educational checkpoint, not an enforcement checkpoint.  A media staging area will be set up on the northeast corner of the intersection in the parking lot of the Family Dollar plaza.  Mr. Greg Adams, Project Director of the S.E. Alabama Traffic Safety Office (ADECA) and I will be available for questions.
