Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest in Henry County

On August 26, 2014 around 9:00 pm Deputy Brian Money with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division conducted a traffic stop on a Beige Buick Regal on Highway 431 in the southbound lane for minor traffic offences. Once Deputy Money made the traffic stop he noticed that the driver of the vehicle, a Mr. Demondray S. White, from Mary Esther Florida, was acting very nervous; more than usual. After speaking to Mr. White, a search of the vehicle was conducted after Deputy Money and Deputy Vanlandingham smelled a strong oder of Marijuana emitting from the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle, approximately 20,000 pills suspected to be XANAX were located throughout the vehicle. Also located in the vehicle were 4 bags containing suspected Crack Cocaine and 1 clear bag plastic bag containing suspected Marijuana. Mr. White was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Drug Trafficking and Possession of Marijuana. MR. White was transported to the Henry County Jail and was booked in on a total of $295,000 of all three charges.
