On November 18, at approximately 1:40am, officers with the Chipley Police Department stopped a vehicle on S.R. 77 north. The officers made contact with the vehicle’s driver 22 year old Jonah D. Taylor from Graceville. Taylor was placed under arrest for driving on a suspended driver license. A subsequent search of Taylor’s vehicle revealed methamphetamine. Officers also located in the vehicle several bottles that were being used to produce methamphetamine commonly referred to as the “shake and bake “method for manufacturing methamphetamine. Taylor was transported to the county jail where he was charged with driving on a suspended driver license, possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, manufacture of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
