DOTHAN:   Dothan Police and Dothan Fire are on the scene of a "person down" in the 3300 block of Reeves Street.

The call was changed to a wreck. Dothan Firemedics have called and trauma alert and transported to a Dothan hospital.

Full details are not known at this time. Matt is enroute to the scene and will update.

UPDATE NO 1

It was called as a 'person down" because the initial reports were a person laying in the roadway. When police arrived they found out the patient was riding on a mattress in the back of a truck.

The wind caught the mattress and blew both mattress and person into the roadway.

While the medics have called a trauma alert, we understand that is because of the mechanism of injury. According to sources UNCONFIRMED the injuries are not life threatening.
