Tree Cutting Accident Leaves One Dead in Enterprise

On May 8, 2013, at 11:20 AM, the Enterprise Police Department and Enterprise Fire Department responded to an industrial accident at Ashley Mobile Home Park in the 2000 Blk Geneva Hwy Enterprise, AL. The victim was working with a tree cutting service at this location. The victim was operating a bucket truck when the boom arm broke causing the bucket and the victim to fall.
The EPD and EFD established a landing zone to allow Flat Iron to land in close proximity to the accident location. The victim was then transported by Flat Iron to Southeast Alabama Medical Center. At 12:44 PM, the Enterprise Police Department was notified that the victim did not survive the injuries sustained from the accident.
