Tree Falls on Power Line In Geneva

Geneva, AL: I have never covered a story for crews that work for the city so I decided to today. They all work public safety jobs also.

Today Geneva Police, Geneva City Crews, and Alabama Power were dispatched to a tree on a power line and telephone line. The tree was blcoking both lanes of Wilson Street. Geneva City Crews responded quickly to cut the tree into several pieces and get the roadway cleared. Alabama power responded to get the line fixed and to shut the power off. Below are pictures of the incident.
