Trial Will Continue Through Next Week To Include On Holiday

HOUSTON COUNTY:   Houston County Circuit Court Judge Larry Anderson has been in criminal jury trials this week. And it continues through next week. Even Monday, which is a holiday.  the trial will continue. The Judge has no choice.


The trial is a civil trial involving medical mal practice. The case involves plaintiff Sherrie Johnston Crawley verses Globus Medical. It involves injuries Ms. Crawley claims occurred in February 2011 to her husband Judge John Crawley.


In the complaint, Crawley alleges defective product caused severe injury and permanent mental and physical injuries to Crawley.


Not many medical malpractice cases are successful. Not many settle. And this case continues. And while the issue are important to the parties, normally the case is as interesting as watching paint dry.


Judge Anderson is known to push the parties along and not allow wasted time in court. Judge Anderson will work and works when many do not. So you can know there has been no time wasted in this trial.


While the courthouse will be closed, Judge Anderson will be in trial.
