The Troy University Wiregrass Alumni Chapter fundraises every year to provide scholarships to students in the area. The main fundraiser being a golf tournament that is held in the fall each year. This year it will be held September 30th at the Highland oaks golf Course.

A total of 8 scholarships were awarded this year and recipients included:

Joseph Pruitt, Valedictorian from Dothan High School

Lindsey Lambert, Dothan High School

Cydney Peel, Slocomb High School

Christopher Brooks, Geneva High School

Meagan Yarborough, Graduate Student at Troy University Dothan Campus

Abigail Goolsby, Sophomore, Troy Dothan Campus
