Troy Student Among 2 Killed in Hale County Crash

According to (WSFA): Two people were killed and another was injured in a head-on collision in Hale County early Sunday morning.
A Troy University spokesperson confirmed one of the victims, 21-year-old Kenneth Dwayne Collins Jr., was a junior design technology major at the university.
The two-vehicle crash happened around 6:50 a.m. Sunday on Highway 69 just south of the Havana community, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Collins, of Faunsdale, was injured when the Ford Fusion he was driving collided head on with a Chrysler 300 driven by Eureka Edwards Ford, 39, of Newbern. He died while being transported to a medical facility, according to ALEA.
