Truck Strikes Bridge in Enterprise

This morning, at 0815 hrs., (8:15AM) a traffic accident occurred on Damascus Hwy between Main St. and Donald St.   A tractor-trailer hauling a Volvo excavator, attempted to drive under the railroad overpass.  The excavator struck the overpass causing major damage to the overpass and the roadway.  There were no injuries from the traffic accident.  Railroad officials estimate that repairs to the overpass will take between two and five days.  This part of Damascus Hwy will be closed during this time.
