Turkeys for Heaven - Needs your help

One local group is in a race against time to make sure everyone in the Wiregrass has a meal on the table on Christmas day.  Turkeys from Heaven, volunteers grill thousands of turkeys and cook green bean casseroles to deliver to families all over Southeast Alabama, Northwest Florida, and Southwest Georgia.


The project has collected approximately 1,000 turkeys so far, but another 1,000 are needed in order to feed all of the qualifying families.


The turkeys are for sale at the Publix on the north side of Ross Clark Circle. If you are able to get involved, visit the Turkeys from Heaven Facebook page or Rebecca Marsella at 334-797-9376.
