On December 09 at approximately 12:27pm officers with the Chipley Police Department stopped a Ford Ranger on S.R. 77. The vehicle’s driver was identified as 26 year old Ancil Bryant Jr. and passenger 23 year old Ashley Nicole Bade both of Bonifay. Subsequent to the traffic stop a search of the vehicle found Bade to be in possession of a scheduled drug without a prescription. Bryant was found to be in possession of numerous pills that are consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine. Bryant admitted that he intended to sell the pills to an individual that he thought was going to manufacture meth. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.
