Two Charged with Theft of Property and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card

On April 15th, 2015 the Dothan Police Department made multiple felony arrests following a recent theft investigation.
Investigators say on April 9th, 2015, Toshie Adams gained possession of a credit card that was unknowingly left at Van’s Package Store by a customer. While at Van’s Package Store, Adams contacted Joseph Jordan, who then came to the business and used the card to make over two hundred dollars in purchases.
Adams and Jordan were both arrested for fraudulent use of the victim’s credit card. Adams was also charged with second degree theft. Their arrest now brings this case to a close.
- Toshie Yerki Adams, black female, 32 years of age, of Woodlawn Drive was arrested and charged with second degree Theft of Property and two counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Bonds have been set and total $7,500.00.
- Joseph Oneal Jordan, white male, 43 years of age, of Catalpa Street was arrested and charged with two counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Bonds have been set and total $30,000.00.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
