Two Dothan Men Charged with AssaultMatt Boster

On April 8, 2014 the Dothan Police Department responded to the 300 block of South Appletree Street in reference to an assault complaint involving multiple subjects.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male subject who had extensive injuries to the front and back of his head. The victim told officers he was attacked by several males while walking on South Appletree Street. The officers were given a description of the suspects and that information was broadcasted to other officers in the area. Shortly after that information was issued, an alert patrolman noticed a passenger car exit from the rear of a residence located near the incident scene, which was occupied by two males. The vehicle was stopped by the officer and the two individuals, Dahquez Glanton and Depravion Walker were identified as the suspects involved in the assault.
Glanton and Walker have both been arrested and charged with first degree assault. The victim was transported to the Southeast Alabama Medical Center where he was admitted and listed in stable condition.
- Dahquez Rahjohn Glanton, black male, 18 years of age, of Alexander Drive was arrested and charged with first degree Assault.
- Depravion Lamanuel Walker, black male, 18 years of age, of Cougar Drive was arrested and charged with first degree Assault.
Bonds have been set at $250,000.00 for each individual. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
