Two Florida Men Arrested on Drug Charges

On July 03 at approximately 2:00am officers with the Chipley Police Department stopped a
vehicle in the area of Nearing Hills Road and S.R. 77. Contact was made with the vehicle’s driver
Allen Shafer of Vernon and one passenger Jason Crisp of Caryville. A subsequent search of the
vehicle revealed several grams of methamphetamine, marijuana and a firearm. Also officers
located at least one syringe that tested positive for methamphetamine.
