Two Locked up for Burglary

On March 22, 2013 the Dothan Police Department responded to the 100 block of Lakeside Drive in reference to a residential burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the occupant of the residence who advised them two unknown males entered the home through an unlocked door, and then left prior to their arrival. A description of the two subjects was broadcasted to the other responding officers when an alert patrolmen spotted a pick-up truck, occupied by two individuals matching the information given, in that area. A traffic stop of the vehicle was performed and the occupants were transported to police department for questioning.


 


Investigators now say the two subjects have been identified as Kenyon Deal and Braden Snell. Both were arrested and charged with second degree Burglary and third degree Theft of property bringing this incident to a close. Deal was also in possession of prescription medicine which did not belong to him. Deal was also charged with Unlawful possession of a controlled substance.


 


 



  • Branden Snell, white male, 21 years of age, of Battleboro Court was arrested and charged with second degree Burglary and third degree Theft of Property with a bond total of $200,750.00. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 


 



  • Kenyan Deal, white male, 19 years of age, of Kinsey, Alabama was arrested and charged with second degree Burglary, Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and third degree Theft of Property with a bond total of $203,250.00. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
