Two Men Arrested on Drug Charges in Washington County

Chipley: The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two men, one of which was employed as a correctional officer, for numerous drug charges including the manufacturing of methamphetamines.
As a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation, WCSO investigators received information about a residence located in Washington County that had suspected drug activity. Investigators, acting on this information, arrived at the property and made contact with the residents in the home. While executing a search warrant at the property, investigators discovered the residents were actively in the process off producing methamphetamines via the shake and bake method. In addition, several chemicals used for manufacturing methamphetamines as well as marijuana were found at the property.
Arrested was:
David Arthur Foreman, 63 year old white male of 4770 Godwin Lane in Chipley, FL
• Manufacturing methamphetamines
• Possession of methamphetamines
• Possession of listed chemicals
• Marijuana production
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
Carlton Wesley Spooner II, 39 year old white male of Wausau, FL
• Manufacturing methamphetamines
• Possession of methamphetamines
• Possession of listed chemicals
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
Spooner who at the time of arrest was a sergeant at Northwest Florida Reception Center and Foreman were transported to the Washington County Jail.
