Two More Arrested on Drug and Child Abuse Charges in Marianna

On September 18th, 2015 at approximately 8:58pm officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to 2983 Tracy Drive Lot 6, Marianna, Florida in reference to a possible meth lab. Upon arrival contact was made with Brandie Burdette and Spencer Trawick. Due to the nature of the call, officers obtained consent to search the residence. During a search of the kitchen area of the residence, officers located three plastic soda bottles, two of which contained a bi-layer, clear liquid which was found to be methamphetamine.
Officers continued a search of the inside of the residence and were able to locate several other products that are used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Officers began canvassing the outside of the residence and located another plastic soda bottle which contained an active methamphetamine lab. Found with this lab were remnants of products used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
During the investigation, officers learned that a child was inside the residence at the time. The total amount of methamphetamine recovered was 360.3 grams. Burdette and Trawick were arrested and charged with the above mentioned charges. Both subjects were transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
