A 2003 Toyota Camry was traveling East on Ft. Pickens Road at a high rate of speed approximately 1.4 miles West of the park entrance when the vehicle left the South side of the roadway. The vehicle then continued with the right side tires in the sand for approximately 60 feet before the vehicle re-entered the roadway in a counter-clockwise motion. As the vehicle straddled the center line, sliding passenger first, the vehicle began to barrell roll towards the north shoulder of the roadway. The Vehicle then overturned several times before coming to a final position of rest upright approximately 120 feet northeast of the initial roll. The two teens were identified as Travis Joseph Swann, 18, and Kennedy Leigh Van Der Werff, 17, both of Pensacola, FL.
