Two Tennessee Women Charged with Second Degree Robbery

On March 4th, 2015 at approximately 7 pm, the Dothan Police Department responded to the 200 block of Buyers Drive in reference to a robbery complaint at “Pier 1 Imports”.
Upon arrival, officers were advised that two unknown black female entered the business and began concealing items in their clothes. When one of the individuals was confronted, the subject attempted to leave the store and hit an employee on the head as they exited.
A description of the vehicle the suspects were occupying was given when an alert officer located it in the 3400 block of Ross Clark Circle. Officers made contact with the subjects occupying the vehicle and confirmed them to be the suspects.
The women were identified as Iris Murphy and Stacy White. They were taken into custody and charged with second degree robbery
- Iris Nicole Murphy, black female, 36 years of age, of Nashville Tennessee was arrested and charged with second degree Robbery.
- Stacy Denique White, black female, 28 years of age, of Nashville Tennessee was arrested and charged with second degree Robbery.
Bonds for the women have been set at $70,000.00 each. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
