Two Vehicle Accident claimed the life of a Hampshire, Tenn., woman

DOTHAN POST – A two-vehicle crash Thursday, Oct. 20, claimed the life of a Hampshire, Tenn., woman and injured two others. Diana J. Boshers, 60, was seriously injured when the 2006 Dodge she was driving was struck by a 2013 Chevrolet driven by Paul Thomas Swinson, 57, of McKenzie. Boshers  was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, where she died a short time later.


A passenger in Boshers’ car was transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.  Swinson was transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment of his injuries. The crash occurred at 10:23 p.m. on Alabama 55 at the intersection of Covington County 82. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
