Two Vehicle Crash Claims the Life of an Enterprise Man

DOTHAN POST -- A two-vehicle crash at noon today, March 19, claimed the life of an Enterprise man.  Randall Lomax Herring, 64, was killed when a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Phyllis Barnes, 56, of Kinsey, crossed the centerline and collided with the 2006 Buick Rendezvous  he was driving.  Herring, who was not using a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene by Coffee County Coroner Robert Preachers.  Barnes was not injured.  The crash occurred on Alabama 134 at the 22 mile marker, two miles west of Enterprise. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate this crash.
