DOTHAN:   Appearing before Houston County District Court Judge Benjamin Lewis on Monday was Marco Andrew Scurry of Columbia.


Scurry appeared through video before Judge Lewis for his 72 hour hearing on charges of Attempted Murder - 2 counts and Attempted Arson - 2 counts. Each charge is carrying $ 250,000.00 bonds each for a total of $ 1 million dollars in bond.


Scurry is charged by Dothan Police Investigator Terry Nelson. The fire located was 703 East Stough Street on July 24, 2015.


Scurry told Judge Lewis he was playing and he does not understand.


Scurry listed a Weems Road address in Columbia and his dad's residence in Dothan.


Judge Lewis appointed counsel to represent Scurry on the charges.
