Under Cover Fabworks - Modifying Vehicles to Increase Off-Road Capability

If you've seen the new 2014 Cadillac CTS commercial then you may recognize the tagline, "You never know what greatness can come out of an American garage." Though the success of the companies in this commercial is achieved by very few, local company Under Cover Fabworks, LLC has successfully grown from this same simple beginning. Founder Matthew Walton started UCF in March of 2010 after noticing a void in the marketplace for affordable off-road protection components for Jeep vehicles, components that are necessary for rock crawling. Matt's vision was not only to design and produce superior components but also to do so at prices lower than the industry standard. Jeepers nation-wide were immediately able to take advantage reduced prices... reduced prices made possible by working from a home garage!

 

Four years later, UCF is no longer run out of a home garage.  Business growth has necessitated the move to a new and much larger workshop at 2810 Horace Shepard Drive in Dothan, AL.  This 4,300 square foot facility has allowed UCF to grow in many new directions that benefit both traditional Jeep enthusiasts and hard core rock crawlers. Local customers are able to take advantage of UCF's shop labor, including suspension lift-kit installation, custom suspension and roll cage fabrication, axle re-gearing and many other services.  UCF is also fully equipped to perform custom work on vehicles of any type with a shop full of tire mounting and balancing machines, traditional machine-shop equipment such as lathes and mills, tubing benders and rollers, plasma cutters and welders of all types. 

 

The off-road parts industry is growing at a rapid pace with the increasing popularity of professional and recreational rock crawling and rock racing.  These sports have sparked a new market for owners that want more street-friendly rigs with the same race-winning parts on their own vehicles.  These popular parts include bumpers, skid plates, body armor, LED lighting and many other categories. UCF offers it own line of Jeep and Rock Crawler suspensions fabrication and underbody protection components, along with hardware, warranty, and installation guidelines which are shipped to a nation-wide customer base. UCF now has all of these parts in stock and at a great value.
