Union Springs Woman Charged with Eight Counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument

On March 8, 2013 the Dothan Police Department requested the help of the community in locating two females in connection to a robbery that occurred on January 11, 2013. Shortly after, investigators received information that the female in possession of the purse was recently arrested in Bullock County Alabama on charges of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument. Investigator have now confirmed the identity of the subject as being Jamea Mason and have signed eight felony warrants charging her with eight counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.
The Dothan Police Department would like to thank the various media outlets and the community in helping to apprehend this subject.
- Jamea Alese Mason, black female, 33 years of age, of Union Springs, Alabama was arrested and charged with eight counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, with bonds totaling $90,000. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
