UPDATE 3 One Dead In Level Plains Home Invasion

LEVEL PLAINS: Responding to an emergency call for help, Level Plains Police has found one black male subject dead.
The scene is on Hwy. 109 in Level Plains.
Level Plains Police Chief Bond has confirmed the death but is withholding the identity until next of kin is notified. The victim is app. 42 years of age.
Chief Bonds said at 8:40 PM Level Plains Police received a call that two black male subjects had entered into a residence brandishing firearms. The residence was occupied by one male and two females. The suspects were armed with handguns and machine type looking weapons like AK 47’s.
The reported demands were for drugs and money.
An altercation occurred with the male subject of the residence. The suspects are reported to have shot and killed him. They then fled the scene.
Emergency medical help responded from Level Plains and Enterprise to render medical aid to the person shot but he died.
The two females escaped with no injury.
Chief Bonds called in Daleville Police and Dale County Sheriff Department to assist. The murder investigation has been turned over to Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson.
Sheriff Olson said criminal investigators are processing the scene. Track dogs have been called in to see if any suspect scent can be gotten .
More information will be released later by Chief Bonds of Level Plains Police and/or Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson.

UPDATE 3:00am: Dale County Sheriffs Dept is still on scene investigating the incident. Air and ground search has ended for now, but the suspects are still being located.
Dale County Rescue and Level Plains Fire Dept also responded to the scene.
Update 2
The victim had been identified as 43 year old Marcus Blackmon.
UPDATE 11:18am: Sheriff Wally Olson said detectives have two men in custody who are believed to been involved in the shooting death that occurred. Olson said "We will probably be placing a capital murder charge on one of the suspects". Dale County Coroner Woody Hiboldt said that he pronounced Marcus Blackmon, 43 dead around 9:30pm after been found lying on the floor of his den with a gun shot wound to the chest, from what is a possibly a 9mm.
