UPDATE @ 8:30 a.m. - One Car Accident With A Fatality

HOUSTON COUNTY:    Houston County Sheriff dispatched a motor vehicle accident at 1:53 AM located in the 3700 block of Hodgesville Road.


The accident was a one vehicle accident. A northbound vehicle lost control, the driver was ejected and the vehicle overturned.


The driver was killed on the scene. 


Houston County Sheriff Deputy Riechert was the first officer on the scene. Hodgesville Volunteer Fire and Pilcher Ambulance responded.


Alabama State Troopers and Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd investigated.



UPDATE @ 8:30 A.M. - The deceased has been identified as Jacob Forrest of Dothan.
