HOUSTON COUNTY: Houston County Sheriff Deputies and Dothan Police Officers are on the scene of Houston County Jail of a crude escape attempt.
Corrections Officers at Houston County Jail found tools and a hole in the fence where someone attempted to break into the jail in an attempt to break someone from the jail. The safety of the jail was never comprised.
Matt is on the scene.
UPDATED:
Multiple Deputies and Dothan Officers are here at the Houston County Jail, A search of the Jail is underway along with K-9 teams both inside and out the jail.One K-9 team is tracking away from the jail, possily the route taken up behind the jail where some evidence was located.
A press conferecne is scehduled for 12:30 pm to explain what happened.
