As workers continue in the efforts to restore power to the parts of Dothan that are without, the Dothan Police Department would like the citizens to know that it will continue with its increased manpower, in an effort to deter any unlawful acts from occuring throughout the night.


We encourage the citizens to utilize the 9-1-1 emergency number, but only in cases of emergencies. All other calls will need to be addressed by using the non-emergency number at 334-615-3000.


The restoration of power will be an extensive process, but please be patient and remain vigilant.
