JACKSON COUNTY FL:   Jackson County Sheriff Department, Marianna Police and other Florida law enforcement are involved in a manhunt.

The manhunt location is County Road 73 and Missouri Road.

According to Jackson County Sheriff Lou Roberts a call came in about reckless driving involving a vehicle and a four wheeler. The Jackson County Sheriff helicopter was in the air and near the call and flew over right after call was dispatched.

The Sheriff helicopter observed the four wheeler going behind residences and the auto spinning around. The helicopter directed the Sheriff patrol cars to stop the vehicle based on their observation. When the patrol vehicle went to stop the vehicle the driver fled on foot.

Units, along with the helicopter were quick to chase and apprehend the driver of the vehicle. They are searching for the four wheeler driver. JCI and Sheriff K-9’s are on the ground.

Investigation has revealed the vehicle stopped was stolen from Marianna.

Multiple agencies are involved in the search which is on going.
