MIDLAND CITY:   Midland City Police, Midland City Fire and Dothan Fire are responding and on the scene of an apartment fire on Parker Street in MIdland City.

Midland City Police have tried to gain access to an elderly person that is trapped inside the residence. The officer was unable to gain access and the structure is fully engulfed in fire.

Ryan is responding for RSN. As more information is available we will update.

UPDATE NO 1 @ 10:26 PM

The resident of the apartment has been located and there is no entrapment. The apartment is still fully engulfed.

As more information will update. Dothan Fire on scene assisting.

UPDATE NO 2 @ 10:45 PM

Firefighters are still trying to control the blaze at this time.  The majority of the fire is in the attic at this time.  The appartment appears to be a total loss.
