HOUSTON COUNTY:   Across the east side of Houston County, areas from Dairy Fresh to AMX on 84 West and to Cottonwood there is a reported power outage.

Houston County Sheriff Department is being hit with many calls. They have the power company notified.

UPDATE NO 1 @ 2:11 AM

A Ashford resident just called me. After the power being out for a couple of hours, it has been back on for the past 20 minutes. Utility companies have been out working.

Utility guys and gals...thanks for all you do...we depend on you.
