UPDATE NO 4 BREAKING NEWS: Stabbing or Cutting In Ashford

ASHFORD:   Multiple Ashford Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies are responding to the 200 block of Cosby Road in Ashford in reference to a cutting or stabbing.

Preliminary information is person was cut in the throat with a blade.

Ashford Rescue is standing by to make sure the scene is clear of danger. Matt Boster is enroute for RSN.

UPDATE NO 1 @ 9:58 AM

Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes is on the scene. The suspect was last seen running out the back door. The suspect is described as a white male, black hair, green shirt and blue jeans.

Sheriff Hughes has called for the K-9 tracking dog to be dispatched to the scene.

The scene has been cleared for Ashford Rescue to enter and treat the patient.

As more details are known we will update.

UPDATE NO 2 @ 10:25 AM

The perimeter of the scene has been established. Law Enforcement are waiting in the track K-9 to arrive.

Houston County Sheriff Investigators and Ashford Police are conducting the investigation. Ashford Chief Jim Stanley is on the scene.

Details of the incident are not known at this time. We will update as we know.

Update No 3 @11:45am

Deputies are still looking for the suspect. Ashford PD has turned the scene over to the Houston County Sheriff's Office at this time.
