Update on Last Night's Shooting in Lucy

On November 24, 2015 at approximately 8:30 p.m. the Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shots fired call at the 1000 block of St Johns Rd. Lucy, Al., upon the arrival of the deputies, the investigation led to the arrest of David Lee Bernard a 36 year old male of Gordan, Al. for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Reckless Endangerment with a $2,500.00 bond on each charge.
The investigation led to evidence of a domestic depute which had escalated to David Lee Bernard brandishing what appeared to be a firearm and was shot by the father of the victim of the domestic dispute.
David Lee Bernard was treated at a local hospital with a superficial wound.
