UPDATE on Marianna Robbery Suspects

     On September 28th, 2016 at approximately 12:23am officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to the Marianna Police Department in reference to a shooting victim. Upon arrival at the Marianna Police Department officers found a white male who had been shot in the face. During the initial investigation it was determined that the incident occurred on Broad Street, adjacent to Dominos Pizza. The victim was transported by helicopter to an area trauma center where the victim is listed in stable but guarded condition.


     This case is currently under investigation by the Marianna Police Department. If anyone has any information regarding this case they are asked to contact the Marianna Police Department at 850-526-3125 or to remain anonymous contact Chipola Crimestoppers at 850-526-5000.


***UPDATE*** 


            Suspects have been described as 2 black males, appearing to be in their late teens, early 20’s.  Both were of slender build, but one male being slightly larger.  Both suspects were armed with handguns.


The larger of the two suspects has a short afro hairstyle and was said to be wearing dark shorts, a white shirt, and dark colored shoes.


            The more slender of the two suspects was described to have short dread locks, or twists as his hairstyle and was wearing either purple or dark blue in color shirt and shorts.


            The suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a newer model silver or gray 4 door car.


            The victim is still hospitalized in Tallahassee, but his condition continues to improve.
