UPDATE On Morgan Hasty

We were able to come home late last night (Friday). Morgan has laid around all day today. She has had a few moments of activity but other than that, she has just rested. I’m pretty sure that’s what her body needs right now after all she’s been through this past week.

We will go back to Birmingham Monday for her last full week of radiation treatments. She will have 3 treatments the following week. We go to clinic Wednesday (17th) to have bloodwork done. If things go as they have in the past, her numbers will be low and she will most likely need blood. They could possibly admit her to the hospital if her numbers are really low.

I would like to ask for specific prayers dealing with Morgan’s throat. Where the radiation is being given, it is burning her throat. When she gets sick, it is very painful for her and awful to watch as a parent. We would appreciate your prayers especially for these next few weeks as Morgan finishes this part of her regimen.

Thank you all so much for each prayer lifted up! We know God hears them and we pray He is glorified through this.

Prayer warriors - Morgan has been really sick since about 3am today. Please pray that she will get over this quickly. For one, obviously there are dehydration issues. Second, her throat is really raw from the radiation, and when she is sick, it just hurts badly!
