Update On Morgan Hasty :: RickeyStokesNews.com!

We've talked to Mitzi and she is so calm. She is always is - God is right with her. Morgan is in good care - she was alert and not happy about getting stuck (drawing blood). I typed wrong in the previous update - her heart rate was high, and blood pressure dropping.

Several of us are headed to Birmingham, so we appreciate prayers for traveling mercies as well.

Text update from Mitzi - "Dr just came by and said she was looking better but we are not out of the woods yet - thank you God for better!"

Morgan has run fever throughout the day today (Wednesday). The drs ordered a CT scan of her sinuses to check for infection. I have not heard anything from this scan yet. I am guessing I will hear from that in the morning when the drs make their rounds.

She has felt pretty bad today with the fever and low counts. She has not had to get blood yet, but that could be a possibility tomorrow.

On a much brighter note, I got a phone call from Dylan today and he made the Junior High basketball team at Providence!! YEA Dylan!! I can just see his face with that big grin on it! I am super proud of him and I hope he has fun learning and playing basketball for the Eagles!! That sounds so cool!

Thank you so much for your prayers for Morgan! We are praying that God would lead these doctors as they try to help her feel better. We know the Great Physician is in control and we pray for His guiding hand.

Immediate prayers needed for Morgan. She is not doing good this morning. Her blood pressure and heart rates have dropped and they are moving her to the Special Care unit (not intensive care). There is a 50:50 chance they may have to move her to intensive care. Her little body is trying its best to fight off whatever is causing the fever. They also have put her in some oxygen this morning.

David and Ken are about to head to Birmingham. I will update more as soon as I know.

Bro Jim is also headed to Birmingham. Prayers for their travel.
