Deputy Cole Mock did receive head injuries in his crash. He is currently in the CCU at Southeast Alabama Medical Center, being treated for his injuries. From comments and posts by family on Facebook, he is showing some signs of improvement. I went to the hospital yesterday and it is amazing at how the Wiregrass area pulls together for a Law Enforcement Officer, or anybody. I talked with some people at the hospital and they stated that there were Law Enforcement Officers from all over the Wiregrass area that came to see him and the family. When I was there, there were Alabama State Troopers, Alabama Bureau of Investigation Agents, Geneva County Sheriff’s Deputies, and more Officers present. There has been a prayer chain set up for Cole on Facebook titled "Prayer Chain for Cole Mock". Please continue to pray for Cole as he has a long road to recovery.
