UPDATE on the Pedestrian Stuck by Vehicle

On February 28th 2015, at approximately 7:50 pm, the Dothan Police Department responded to the 1500 block of Westgate Parkway after receiving information of a pedestrian being struck by a motor vehicle. 


Investigators with the Dothan Police Department’s Traffic Division responded to the scene, and through preliminary investigation have determined that Norton Wolf, of Sarasota, Florida was struck by a passing motor vehicle as he attempted to cross Westgate Parkway. Norton was unresponsive to emergency personnel and pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say the driver of the vehicle was not injured and there were no signs of that individual being impaired.


The Dothan Police Department would like to express our condolences to the family of Norton Wolf in their time of loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties involved in this tragedy.
