Update on Yesterday's Wreck that Claimed the Life of a Bascome Florida Man

DOTHAN POST -- A two-vehicle crash at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 27, claimed the life of a Bascom, Fla., man and injured another. Clark William Hasty, 41, was killed when he lost control of the 1998 Mercury Tracer he was driving and struck a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 70-year-old Tullis Wayne Granger of Cottonwood.  Hasty, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd.  Granger was transported to Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan for treatment of his injuries.  The crash occurred on Alabama 53 three miles south of Cottonwood. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
