DOTHAN: At 6:58 PM Dothan Fire responded to a outdoor fire on Buena Vista Drive in reference to tree on power line. Dothan Utilities responded also and removed the tree from the power line.
At 7:23 PM Dothan Fire responded to 300 Winding Road to a tree that fell on a power line and the tree was on fire.
Dothan Fire responded to a medical emergency at Southgate Road and Highway 231 South.
At 7:49 PM Dothan Fire Engine 4 left the medical emergency on Southgate Road and responding to a medical emergency at Shadetree Park on Highway 231 South.
In the weather emergency crews, which emergency crews INCLUDE Utilities are out and working taking care of emergencies.
Earlier Cottonwood Rescue responded to a medical emergency.
At 7:50 PM Dothan 911 rolled Dothan Fire Engine 2, Lakewood, to 1600 Cone Drive to a grass fire app. 25 feet spreading. There is also a power outage.

In reference to the Cone Drive outdoor fire...Dothan Fire Engine 2 has the fire contained. The lines are hot and they are awaiting Dothan Utilities.

Dothan Utilities is on the scene with Dothan Fire Engine 2 on Cone Drive. The utilities has asked Dothan Fire to stand by and assist with lighting while they repair the power outage.

At 11:01 PM, 299 Girard Avenue at Beechnut Street, outdoor fire, power line down.
At 11:06 PM, 386 East Saunders Road, Dothan Pointe South Trailer Park, spark from electric line behind residence.
At 11:10 PM, 1899 Myra Avenue, outdoor fire, transformer/tree, flames visible.

At 12:35 AM, 2979 East Cottonwood Road, dispatched as a structure fire, smoke from roof, limbs and power lines fell on top of residence.
At 12:38 AM, 1 Alma Street at Fairview, transformer on fire.
At 12:48 AM, 1208 Summit Street, possible electrical, strong smoke odor in residence bedroom.
At 1:06 AM, 3100 block of Columbia Highway, live wire across roadway.
At 2:00 AM, 3282 East Main Street, Dothan Palms Trailer Park, power line or tree on fire.
At 2:30 AM, 1000 South Edgewood, "t" building, power line and tree on fire.
At 3:08 AM, South Bell Street, medical emergency, difficulty breathing.
At 3:09 AM, Pepperridge Road, elderly person fallen complaining of head injury.
At 3:25 AM, medical emergency, Hutto Towers, elderly person has fallen and has a head injury.
At 3:36 AM, phone in fire alarm, 164 North Oates Street, Houston County Community Corrections Center. A high occupancy building so several fire engines responded in the event a real emergency.
At 3:36 AM, outdoor fire, 402 South Ussery Street, tree limb and power line on fire.
UPDATED @ 3:48 AM The fire alarm at Houston County Community Corrections was only a surge in power.
At 3:38 AM, water line busted in the 100 block of West Adams Street.
At 3:56 AM, phone in fire alarm, G.E. Plant Hodgesville Road at Inez Road.
UPDATED @ 4:39 AM Dothan Fire just updated the call on Hodgesville Road. The KNOX box was frozen and unable to make entry. The fire department had to wait on a keyholder to arrive to make entry into the building. Nothing was visible from outside.

UPDATED @ 4:49 AM A very tired sounding Dothan Fire Captain, Scott Bodiford, has just reported all ok at First Methodist Church on the fire alarm. All Dothan Fire engines have run all night on calls.
