DOTHAN: Dothan Fire and Dothan Police are on the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Reeves Street at Grey Hodges Road. Reports are two vehicle with heavy damage and entrapment. Two paramedic engines, a ladder truck and three ambulances have responded  along with Battalion 1.

So far we do know that one person was ejected and taken to the hospital. One person from the other vehicle has been extracated from the vehicle and one person has been confirmed killed. The intersection is closed and will remain closed for some time as Dothan Police Crash Team starts their investigation.

Rickey is rolling for RSN and will update when more information comes available.

Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd is on the scene of the accident. PRELIMINARY information, a Dodge 2500 was southbound and it appears the white car was pulling from Grey Hodge Road into the path of the Dodge 2500.

A person was ejected from the small passenger vehicle and the fatality was in the white passenger car. 

Dothan Police CRASH team is investigating the accident. Dothan Police Major Steve Parrish was on the scene. Alabama State Trooper Robert Green was also on the scene.

We are holding scene photographs until confirmation next of kin is notified.

RSN does not post scene pictures of serious critical injury or fatality wrecks until we give ample amount of time for the law enforcement and or Coroner ample time to make notifications of next of kin.

In the accident this morning the fatality victim has been identified as Denise Carter, age 44 of Abbeville.

Prayers and thoughts to those involved and the families of Ms. Carter.
