HOUSTON COUNTY: 5:04 PM Houston County Sheriff 911 has dispatched Ashford Police, Ashford Rescue to the 2100 block of North County Road 75. Reports of a motor vehicle with two major injuries.
Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Alabama Department of Law Enforcement - Troopers, Pansey Fire responding.

This is a one vehicle accident that left the roadway at a bridge. There is one confirmed dead on the scene.
Ashford Rescue called Knight's Wrecker to respond ASAP to assist with extrication.
Pansey Volunteer Fire, Ashford Volunteer Fire, Ashford Rescue, Ashford Police and Gordon Police responded and assisted.
Alabama Department of Law Enforcement - Troopers responded and are in charge of the investigation.
One was transported to SAMC from the accident. One dead on the scene.
Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd has been called to the scene. At the time of this call Coroner Byrd is also at the hospital on two deaths from the accident on Highway 231 South.
Withholding pictures until confirmation family notifications are made.

Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd has identified the deceased as Christopher Neil McClenny of Cowarts.
