UPDATED @ 10:22 PM BREAKING NEWS: Pedestrian Struck on the Circle

DOTHAN:  Dothan Fire Engine 3 ( Westgate ) and Dothan Police are on the scene of a person struck by a vehicle im the 2900 block pf Ross Clark Circle.

Reports are it is in front of Econo Lodge on the Circle.

The victim is enroute to the Flowers Hospital. Dothan Fire Medics have called a trauma alert. Witness stated the victim, a male in his thirties, was struck by a black SUV. The victim is reported to have broken leg and a head injury.

Dothan Police are investigating the accident.

The victim was struck by a Volvo SUV on the north side of Ross Clark Circle as he was crossing the road. After impact, the victim was thrown to the southside of Ross Clark Circle and was struck by a second vehicle, but only by the mirror.

While Dothan Fire called a trauma alert, the injuries are not beleived to be life threatening injuries.
