HEADLAND:  Headland Police and Headland Emergency units are on the scene of Terrace Drive in reference to a shooting. Multiple units are out and on the scene. The victim is conscious and talking.

A broadcast has been issued for a black Chevrolet Beretta driven by a light skin black male with a mustache.

At this time there is not much information available.

As more information develops we will update.

Shooting possibly occured on Broad Street. Headland Police Chief Mark Jones just called in service on the radio and is responding to the scene of the shooting. As more information is available we will update.

Headland Police had the same situation as Dothan Police Department. Shooting location in one place and victim in another location. Headland Police have located the scene. They have called for a wrecker to the 500 block of Terrace Drive in Headland. NOTE: At this time we are not for sure the location of the shooting is at this location. So we are putting the map up as a POSSIBLE location of the shooting and not a definite location.

Headland Police Chief Mark Jones said the shooting is a robbery. The victim would not give the supect what he wanted so he shot him in the leg. The injuries do not appear to be life threatening. Chief Jones and other members of the Headland Police Department are out working the scene at this time.
