UPDATED @ 10:40 PM. 10:20 PM. Structure Fire In Houston County Near Alabama - Florida Line

HOUSTON COUNTY:     10:20 PM.   HOUSTON County Sheriff 911 dispatched Cottonwood Fire, Lovetown Fire, Cottonwood Rescue and Houston County Sheriff Department to a vehicle fire at 195 Woodyard Road. That call came in at 10:17 PM.

At 10:21 Pm Houston County Sheriff 911 Center also dispatched a structure fire at the same location.

This road is located off Highway 53. South of County Road 81 intersection, between there and the Alabama - Florida line like going to Malone FLorida.

At 10:24 PM Cottonwood Fire is rolling to the scene. Cottonwood Fire is also rolling the water tanker truck.

Houston County Deputy Sheriff Killingsworth is on the scene. The vehicle fire is fully involved but the structure fire is out. Deputy Killingsworth has called for a Criminal Investigator and reported one person is being detained.

I am not going to the scene. This call is at the Alabama - Florida line below Cottonwood so by the time I get there fire should be out.

We will find out more tomorrow. But I am about to go NIGHT - NIGHT!

UPDATED @ 10:40 PM

At 10:33 PM Cottonwood Fire units ( volunteer unit ) were on the scene. By 10:40 PM all was under control.

Houston County Sheriff Criminal Investigator is in service and rolling that direction.
