CLAYHATCHEE:    In the middle of the night Houston County Sheriff Department and Dale County Sheriff Department recovered a dump truck that was apparently driven off the boat landing and into the river.


UNCONFIRMED reports are the truck was stolen from Houston County.


Members of Houston County Rescue Dive Team were called to the scene to hook the wrecker to the truck. This makes the fourth time this heart that Houston County dive teams have been at Clayhatchee .

The dump truck belonged to Holland Manufacturing. It was Grittney Road in Clayhatchee. Sometime after 3:30 PM from Grittney Road. 


The truck was then found underwater at Clayhatchee.
