HOUSTON COUNTY:    The system loves to take the weak and work to destroy. They find you weak and zero in on that weakness to destroy and further smack you in the ground.

A Taylor Man, Ronald Lee Furniss had been going through life OK. Furniss had some medical issues. But with those issues, Furniss was able to drive a Houston County School bus to help support himself and his income.

Then one day Furniss came in contact with an Alabama State Trooper. Trooper Bright that is.

Trooper Bright performed a series of tests in the field and then made a decision to place Ronald Lee Furniss into custody and place him in the Houston County Jail.

The arrest was on November 26, 2013. The offense was DUI ( Driving Under A Controlled Substance ). Furniss was placed in jail.

That arrest caused Furniss to loose his job as a Houston County School bus driver.

EMOTIONALLY DISTRAUGHT

Furniss was emotionally distraught over the arrest. He stood firm that he was not guilty. But the Houston County School system turned their back on Furniss version and terminated his employment.

AND TIME ROLLS ON

And time rolls on. Furniss is still distraught and frustrated not knowing how to fight the system. And Furniss was the victim of everyone thinking, you were arrested so you had to be guilty.

Furniss has never been able to let it go. He has been fighting the world. He has been embarassed and humiliated. He has been talked about behind his back.

You know GOD has placed some people with strong back bones that can fight the system. And in some, GOD made a choice not to give them that strong fight.

TRIAL

In Houston County District Court, the case State of Alabama (Doug Valeska ) prosecuted Ronald Lee Furniss went to trial in the Houston County Courthouse. The trial was held on July 1, 2014. The court found Furniss NOT GUILTY, AQUITTED on all charges.

BUT LIFE HAS NOT GONE WELL

The Houston County Board of Education refused to allow Furniss to be a school bus driver again. The Alabama Education System failed and has done absolutely nothing to have Furniss re-instated as a Houston County School Board of Education bus driver.

At the end of December 31, 2014, Ronald Lee Furniss will loose his unemployment benefits. The Houston County Board of Education has turned thier back on him.

And all because, he was arrested but found not guilty.

Those in power have attempted to label Furniss as  a bad person, dangerous and what do they do when the system knows they are mistreating someone.

Furniss needs to be returned to where he was before the criminal offense was lodged, which was FALSE and he was found NOT GUILTY.

In America, we are innocent until proven guilty. But in life, we are guilty until proven innocent.

Ron can be contacted at 334-798-3358.

TO RON...keep the faith. All people are not cruel

UPDATED @ 10:22 AM

Additional information, UNCONFIRMED, is that Mr. Furniss was on leave before the DUI arrest. He was on leave because he is reported to have run two bus stop signs and was placed on leave.
